Meze Audio is launching a new in-ear monitor, called ASTRU.  Signalled at Munich last year to a select few, the ASTRU has a Titanium, driver wrapped in 80 layers of gold.

Meze Audio’s ASTRU (Romanian for ‘star’) is their new top-of-the-line single-dynamic-driver in-ear monitor.  Meze Audio, with the ASTRU, is seeking to;

 embody a focused philosophy: one driver, delivering a visceral, full- bodied sound that rivals the layering, imaging, and resolution typically associated with multi-driver in-ear monitor (IEM) designs.
