The Cyrus evolution continues

News this week of the Cyrus Audio evolution.  After the launch of the new Cyrus Audio 40 Series, marking a “New Beginning”, another brand new series is launched.  The 80 Series is the first full-width range of products from Cyrus Audio, a brand that has been associated with the half-width form for its 40 years.

Head of Marketing Chris Hutcheson said;

We have been and always will be renowned for our half-width product design, but the demands of the consumer are varied, and we recognise that there are some customers who prefer the full-width look and feel. The 40 series was created to reset the Cyrus brand; the 80 series is here to expand our appeal to music fans who have not considered us before purely because of the form factor of our products.

The 80 Series will initially comprise the 80 AMP, a streaming amplifier that features 150W per channel of Class A/B power.  There is an 80 PRE, which also features BluOS built-in, and an 80 POWER, which will claim to deliver 200W per channel upon launch in November this year (2025).

The 80 Series is compatible with the 40 Series products, such as the 40 PSU and/or the 40 CD, see above.

Prices are expected to be in the range of £5000-6000.
