This week, it’s Munich High End 2025. I’ll see you there for my first (and last) Munich Show. I gather it moves to Austria next year.
There is so much there, but what am I looking forward to seeing?
I am meeting Antonio Meze, the designer of some of the finest headphones on the market, including the planar magnetic POET and dynamic 105 AER, so that will be a real highlight for me.
You can follow my Munich Odyssey on Instagram, where I’ll post as many pictures as I can!

I will also spend time with Loewe Audio and Goldmund, both of whom operate at the highest end of the audio spectrum.
Other events to look forward to include the mysterious launch from Chord Electronics. See below!

I will also be seeking out the new A&ultima SP4000, a new flagship portable digital audio player that will be launched at Munich High End. Having recently reviewed the SP3000M, it will be interesting to hear the improvement in the new model.

I will also be making a point of going to see the new media player from dorpo; these guys are new in the market by name, but they are the brainchild of two ex-OPPO Digital executives (remember the Blu-ray players and the stunning HA-1, reviewed in 2015!?). Also entering the market in the UK this year will be Polish brand Unitra and I’ll be off to see them too.
Other favourites I’ll be looking for if I have time include REL and their new REL T/9x SE models in some new colours. The PMC Prophecy range will be on my list, as will the Kerr Acoustic K300 Mk.3 loudspeakers in exclusive Modern British Racing Green.
I will also hope to see T+A’s new Symphonia streaming integrated amplifier.
