The Audio Show Deluxe 2026 at Whittlebury, near Silverstone, was a joy to attend this weekend. Whirttlebury is great for several reasons;
- there’s always plenty of space with bigger rooms
- there’s free parking
- and good free coffee
- with a relaxed bar with half-decent food
- and an outside space to take a break
- importantly, it’s only 25 odd minutes from HF&MS Central!
These factors contribute to a relaxed vibe and a rather good day out. There were many highlights over the weekend, though, sadly, parental responsibilities prevented this Editor from staying to watch the live band, The King Brasstards, on Saturday. Congratulations to Kris and the Team on a great HiFi weekend.
Innuos

An early highlight of the day was the Innuos room, where the £38000 Nazaré music streamer/server was on show. The Innuos room also featured the Gryphon Antileon Revelation power amplifier with the Pandora preamplifier.

Decent Audio

The Decent Audio was once again a good-sounding room with Scansonic loudspeakers and SPL electronics, including the Performer M1000 750 W (4 Ω) monoblocks.
Kii Audio

The Kii Audio room, like Bristol, was stunning. The simplicity of the room, coupled with the DSP-driven cardioid dispersion from these loudspeakers, needs to be heard to be believed.
Moor Amps

Tim Narramore of Moor Amps only screwed the lid on the first Moor Amps Angel 4 MkII, not 2 weeks ago, and what a sound. Paired with their Best of 2025 manaDAC and a familiar pair of Kudos Audio Titan 505s with the Sigao external passive crossover, the room was a showstopper. Billie Eilish’s bad guy was raw, and the 505s were deep and forceful. The Angel 4 Mk II has a ton of additional capacitance over the flagship Angel 6, which must be due an uplift in the coming period, but until then the Angel 4 MkII will carry Moor Amps ever forward. Congratulations to them on a great room.
Node Audio

The Node Audio Atom range is now officially available to purchase following the Whittlebury Show. Available in an array of leather finishes, up close, they look stunning, and sound better with the rendition of Toccata and Fugue by Simon Preston being a particularly powerful demonstration of Node Audio’s progress since the Hylixa launch. The Atoms were isolated with a couple of sets of SS-1 supports.

Wilson Benesch

Notwithstanding the presentations from both the Node Audio and Moor Amps rooms, the Wilson Benesch room was a step up in both scale and economics. With the Trilogy Audio pre- and power amplification driving the presentation forward, the room was absolutely outstanding with the £82000 Greenwich Turntable and their £51000 Resolution 3Zero isobaric-drive loudspeakers.

Auden Distribution

As always, the Auden room was stunning, featuring the Hegel range of streaming and other amplifiers.
Cyrus Audio

Cyrus Audio was using a pair of Kerr Acoustic loudspeakers (K200, I think) with their 80 Series of electronics. Here, above, are the new 40 Series range of electronics.
Henley Audio

Henley Audio had two systems on show in a feature-packed room that included the HiFi Rose range of products, EAT, Musical Fidelity and Pro-Ject

Chord Company DALI and Luxman

The Chord Company room was shared with Luxman and DALI with a pair of their Epikore 9 loudspeakers. It was a haven of calm, and this Editor took the time to listen to Paul Simon’s 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover
