In Vienna last week, Eversolo debuts its brand-new DMP-A8 Gen 2 Series, which includes a standard unit and a Master Edition with enhanced clock-system performance, digital source processing, and overall system purity. These releases come on the back of the news that a new Transport, called T10, has also been announced. The units are built in a more standard size for a separates system.
Eversolo DMP-A8 Gen 2 Series
Both DMP-A8 Gen 2 Series units feature a new 8.6-inch artistic display and an all-new UI system that includes VU meters and dynamic spectrum analysis.
DMP-A8 Gen 2 continues its well-proven design approach, combining the AK4191EQ digital processor with the AK4499EXEQ DAC, a fully balanced analogue preamplifier architecture, and an R-2R volume control system. Eversolo claims THD+N as low as 0.000075%, and SNR and DNR reaching up to 129 dB. There is a brand-new 64-bit high-performance octa-core main processor, along with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Music library scanning and indexing capabilities have been enhanced, with Eversolo claiming structural analysis and organisation of up to 200,000 tracks in approximately 2 hours.
DMP-A8 Master Edition Gen 2 is a further-enhanced unit featuring a high-precision OCXO Crystal Oscillator clock, PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) technology, and a 10 MHz external clock input, allowing integration with professional-grade standalone external clock systems to provide a higher-level timing reference for the entire digital audio chain.

EversoloT10 Transport
The new T10 streaming transport is just that, focused on streaming without a DAC. There is a comprehensive electrical isolation design across the board with dedicated physical partitioning and electromagnetic shielding. An ultra-low-phase-noise OCXO (crystal oscillator) (featured in the DMP-A8 Gen 2 Master edition) that minimises frequency drift from ambient temperature changes through precise thermal regulation is implemented. This works in conjunction with a low-noise PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) system, which is claimed to refine the clock signal and reduce jitter during digital transmission.
Digital outputs from the T10 include IIS, USB Audio, AES/EBU, and Coaxial connections.
The T10 unit natively integrates major global streaming platforms, including Apple Music, TIDAL, Qobuz, Deezer, and Amazon Music, and features a newly upgraded user interface. High-performance streaming protocols, including TIDAL Connect, Spotify Connect (Lossless), and Qobuz Connect, are supported.
The T10 measures 365 mm × 310 mm × 88 mm (W × D × H) and features the newly upgraded 8.6-inch artistic display mentioned above.
