Tozo – What’s going on?

Tozo – What’s going on?

You may have noticed a few Tozo reviews in the last few months. I seem to be on their mailing list for random headphones and earware. This is not a problem for me. Such is the quality these days of kit coming from China and the Far East.  Indeed a growing amount of our British kit is made in China and the surrounding area, anyway.

This reviewer has reviewed favourably the Tozo Golden X1 Earbuds, the Outstanding on Ear Openbuds, and the excellent, entry-level S3 smartwatch at £50.  Since then, HF&MS has been sent the Tozo Tonal Fit (T21), the T6s, T10s and the T20s. I have also received the more traditional HT2 Active Noise Cancelling headphones. A recent Whisky tour to Scotland allowed me to try these various pieces out, here are my thoughts.

The Tozo collection is all pretty good in the scheme of things, particularly at these prices. They all connect to the free App, which is excellent. It has an equaliser and it does work well.  There are a bunch of preset modes, like Jazz and Rock or you can manually adjust them. A feature I’ve used in the App a few times is the ambient music that plays rain falling, birds singing or waves crashing.

If I’m going true wireless listening to music I’m usually with the Grell TWS/1.  These are a bit more expensive but the quality is there to hear, with consistent performance, excellent resolution and noise cancelling, however, overall, Tozo has something here, I’ve put several friends in the direction of Tozo with no complaints so far!

If you want ANC (Noise Cancelling), the Tozo Golden X1 review is here.  These are probably the best Tozo earbuds on offer but they come at Airpod pricing, around £150, they support LDAC and are a 5 on the ease of fit stakes, they are in-ear too.  (I didn’t have enough columns to put them in the table above).

Tozo is mainly on Amazon (I’m not affiliated with either Amazon or Tozo).
