Marantz announced a new wireless streaming integrated amplifier called MODEL 60n this week. The amplifier features 60W per channel of Class A/B power using its Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module technology. Three analogue inputs to the rear and an MM Phono stage are also included. If you have a digital source, there is an ESS DAC inside, taking signals from Coaxial and optical. There is an HDMI ARC and a subwoofer output if needed for AV purposes. The HEOS App controls the MODEL 60n for streaming purposes, and there is Bluetooth support.
This looks like a pretty comprehensive input specification at a competitive price point. The MODEL 50 and MODEL 50CDn have just arrived here at HF&MS. Look out for that review soon.
The MODEL 60n is available from mid-September from their selected retailers at £1300.
