News, today from Moon of a new loudspeaker, their first, called Voice 22. The Voice 22 is a stand-mounted loudspeaker that reflects forty years of audio design by Simaudio.
Dominique Poupart, MOON’s Product Manager, says,
We are thrilled that one can now own a complete MOON system, one that wouldn’t depend on other manufacturers’ loudspeakers. As with our other products, we created our own designs and technologies, aiming for transparency and realism, and to preserve the scale and dynamics of real-life musical instruments.
The Voice 22 can be placed on any surface as it has a Hover Base design designed to deliver stability and reduce vibration. There is a powder-coated stainless steel stand to match the Voice 22 and there are magnetic cloth-covered grilles. The tweeter in the Voice 22 is a 29mm soft dome type with a waveguide surrounding it. The woofer is a 155mm polypropylene, ‘mineral-filled’, cone.
The Voice 22 is retailing near £2,650 with the stand an additional £495. They will be distributed in the UK by Renaissance Audio.
