Paradigm unveils the Premier Series v2

Canada’s Paradigm Electronics has announced the Premier Series v2 loudspeakers, billed as a more affordable line.  The Premier Series v2 will make its public debut at AXPONA 2026 (April 10–12) at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Centre, Chicago.

The Premier Series v2 is described as an overhaul of the series’ architecture,  John Bagby, Managing Director at PML Sound International, said of the loudspeaker range;

The drivers feature the AL-MAC and CARBON-X technologies from the Founder Series. These are (taken directly from the press release);

• AL-MAC™ High-Frequency Drivers: A specialised fusion of Aluminum, Magnesium, and Ceramic that eliminates unwanted resonances for a clear, smooth high-frequency response.
• AL-MAG™ Midrange Drivers: Crafted for high sensitivity and agility, these drivers ensure that vocals and acoustic instruments remain clear and lifelike.
• Carbon-X™ Unibody Bass Drivers: These single-piece cones provide powerful, controlled bass that remains precise even at higher volumes.

Separately, the loudspeakers feature the Paradigm signature patented wave lens and waveguides.  These are designed to work together to focus sound on the listener, ensuring a wide “sweet spot” regardless of the room’s layout, according to Paradigm.

An adjustable outrigger-style isolation system decouples the speaker from the floor to reduce vibration. This, claims Paradigm, ensures tighter bass on any surface using the included carpet spikes or rubber floor protectors.
