AVID has announced the launch of the Ingenium SE, the successor to the widely acclaimed Ingenium Plug&Play turntable. This turntable incorporates several refinements from customers and retailers to offer a high-performance vinyl turntable, with AVID claiming improved precision, user flexibility and greater musical transparency.
Conrad Mas, founder of AVID, says;
The Ingenium Plug&Play was a milestone product for us. With the Ingenium SE, we’ve built on everything we learned and taken performance further. This is not simply a replacement, but a clear step forward in both performance and musicality, while also providing customers with a defined path of upgrades to further enhance their enjoyment.
The key improvements in the Ingenium SE include a new custom-designed motor, a mass-loaded housing, and a new power supply for greater speed stability. There is also a new, upgraded tonearm that adds increased rigidity. The Ingenium SE is also more suited to future upgrades and system matching. There are a few optional upgrades available, including a metal platter and a DSP Power Supply.
The Ingenium SE will be available through authorised AVID dealers worldwide from June 2026. There are several packages as follows;
