Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 in satin fir green

This week, news broke of the evolution of the Pro-Ject Debut turntable, the Debut EVO 2. The turntable replaces the excellent Debut Carbon EVO and draws on the technology in the PRO design. The Debut EVO 2 turntable will ship with a new Ortofon moving magnet cartridge, a new non-magnetic aluminium platter, and a new MDF chassis. The turntable features an 8.6” carbon fibre conical tube that claims to be ‘super stiff and lightweight’. The tonearm is mounted on a CNC-milled aluminium block with low-friction bearings.

The Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 is available in six satin paint options, three high gloss (black, red, white), or a real-wood walnut veneer. The full specification and colour run-through are on the Henley Audio website.

The Debut EVO 2 is £599.00 (SRP) and will be available in the UK during September 2024.
