Marantz launches MODEL M1


Marantz launched an all-new 2-channel compact wireless streaming amplifier, MODEL M1.  It has digital and analogue inputs, can be used with a TV via eARC, and includes a subwoofer output.  The MODEL M1 supports HiRes streaming up to 24-bit/192kHz PCM support with provision for DSD.  The unit is digital end-to-end and is controlled by the HEOS App.

The M1 has 2 x 100W amplification into 8 Ohms with stereo RCA, HDMI eARC, USB-A inputs.  HEOS is built in and includes Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, and Spotify Connect and it has support for many other streaming services.  Tidal Connect and Roon Ready are on the way too.

The MODEL M1, wireless streaming amplifier is £900 or  $/€1000 and is available from this week.
