The White DG-1S turntable features a twin bonded five-layer Polymer sandwich non-resonant tonearm

Following the news, last month, of the new Vertere DG-1S upgrade comes more news, this time of a white DG-1S turntable.  It really looks great, where I described the black DG-1 in February as Darth Vader’s turntable of choice, this looks like the one the stormtroopers listen to in their downtime! The white version uses two white Perspex sheets sandwiched on a clear middle sheet.  The ‘soft-look’ black or white DG-1S will set you back £3550, including the Magneto cartridge. There are a myriad of upgrades to this ‘basic’ offering, I would buy the Iso-Paws without hesitation.

The DG-1S features an improved platter bearing, the new flat laminated Groove Runner S tonearm, improved tonearm bearings and new motor drive software as upgrades to the former DG-1.  Full details are here.
