T+A launch the Solitaire T, which are their first closed-back, wireless and dynamic headphones in the Solitaire range

News from Munich today from T+A on the launch of their new Solitaire T headphones. Taking style notes and DNA from the ‘Rolls Royce’ of the range, the Solitaire P, these Solitaire T feature a full range dynamic driver as opposed to the planar magnetic delivery of the Solitaire P and the Solitaire P-SE. The Solitaire T are also closed back and offer wired and wireless ANC options, making them a high-end travel accessory.  The new Solitaire T is priced at an RRP of 1300€/$1600/£1200 and they are available from July 2022.

Conradin Amft, T+A’s COO says,

With the Solitaire P and P-SE we succeeded in producing a range of reference headphones, but with the Solitaire T, we set ourselves a new and exciting challenge. We began with the slogan “T+A wherever you are”, and then breathed life into the words.

Project Director Sebastian Kobelt added,

We wanted to combine a great pair of passive headphones with the best electronic components possible.

The Solitaire T feature a 42 mm transducer with a cellulose diaphragm.  This diaphragm offers lightweight performance with commensurate stiffness.  Inside there is Bluetooth LDAC and aptX codec with a Qualcomm QCC chip.  These are paired with an ES9218 Sabre DAC.
