The excellent Lindy have announced their latest out and about headphones, numbered BNX-100, that are both wireless and feature active noise cancelling technology. The BNX-100 headphones use advanced aptX® 5.0 Bluetooth technology to wirelessly deliver high quality Hi-Fi audio. The noise cancelling feature claims to reduces the listener’s exposure to external noise by up to 95%.

I have a pair and will have a review next week! So far, I’m very happy on my wanderings with the dog.

The BNX-100 are physically slightly larger than their cousins the very good BNX-60s from last year (review here), they feature 40mm dynamic drive units made with neodymium magnets.

Standout new features of the BNX-100s include Audio Pass-Through to allow external sound to be heard at the touch of a button – perfect for in-flight use or in a busy office.   They also feature Auto Pause, which means the headphones automatically pause and resume audio playback when being taken off and put back on ensuring you never miss a moment of your favourite music or podcast.

Another new feature is twin pairing. The BNX-100’s can be paired with two devices simultaneously for uninterrupted audio switching. This will allow the user to listen to music on one device and then switch to take calls on another.

The key features are advertised as follows:

Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX®
Audio Pass-Through
Auto Pause
Twin Bluetooth pairing
15-hour battery life
Active noise cancelling removes 95% of external noise
Integrated microphone and controls for hands free calls
Built-in battery and ANC indicators

The Lindy BNX-100 headphones are available in the UK now priced at £119.99 and can be purchased from www.lindy.co.uk and Amazon.co.uk, or from www.lindy.ie for customers in Eire.
