Exposure Electronics has announced a new integrated amplifier, the Exposure 5510, this week. It claims to offer 120W/channel output and, importantly, it has an option to install a DAC board or a phono board (MM, MC or DS) to suit your individual needs, reducing redundancy if you already have one or both of these components.
The Exposure 5510 has a custom-built toroidal transformer with a hum shield in a low-noise design, allowing a cleaner delivery of your music. Simplicity is the name of the game here, with a high-grade aluminium chassis that reduces resonance, and a white OLED display offering five brightness settings and an auto-off mode.
5510 Integrated Amplifier – Technical specifications
Power output 120 Watts per channel into 8 Ohms @ 1kHz
Frequency response 20Hz – 20kHz +/-0.5dB
Signal to noise ratio >100dB, A weighted ref 1kHz at rated output
Channel separation >60dB @ 20kHz
Total harmonic distortion <0.02% at rated power into 8 Ohms ref 1kHz
Mains supply 110/120V or 220/240V @ 50/60Hz (factory set)
Power consumption <400W, 8 Ohms load, both channels driven
