Great intro and the first couple of tracks are really exciting but for me loses its way a bit mid CD. Gets it back in ‘Last of The Summer Wine’ and ‘Tom the Drum’ and tales off nicely with the obligatory indie opus at the end, although 14 seems to a strange title with ambiguous lyrics. With Ramones tones and Hooky (Peter) bass lines, this is a decent start and bodes well.
With The Courteeners, Johnny Marr (fave so far), Foals and The Vaccines stepping up with top albums, this year bodes well for my musical festival of 2013, see 1001 blog.
