Acoustic Energy’s 40th Anniversary AE2 announced

Acoustic Energy’s AE2 40th Anniversary loudspeaker has been announced this week, building on the incredible success of the AE1 40th Anniversary, which went down so well with Ian here at HF&MS. The AE2 40th Anniversary includes the newly developed woofer and tweeter drive units from the AE1, with a few new cutting-edge enhancements, whilst retaining its heritage looks.

AE claims the improvements to the AE2 40th Anniversary;

deliver a significantly enhanced sonic experience, offering greater bass extension, increased headroom, and lower midband distortion. The result is a cleaner, more transparent sound at everyday listening levels, with a powerful and engaging presentation.
