Connected-Fidelity has announced a new CF-1010 tone-arm, manufactured in the UK. It is a 9″ tone-arm, with a curved titanium arm and integral head-shell that has a resonance absorbing component in it. The fitting end is a Linn configuration with three fixings and a centre pillar hole.
The arm bearings are pre-loaded with no jitter and almost no friction. Connected Fidelity claim;
The high quality fine wires from the tone-arm offer almost no resistance, so constant anti-skate bias (from a hanging weight) is assured across the record surface
Connected Fidelity is offering a package that includes all hardware for setting the tone-arm up accurately, a good quality 2.0Mtr. tone-arm cable (RCA), a digital cartridge down-force scale, and a fine fibre vinyl brush cleaner. Accessories include a choice of counterweights and headshell sets. Connected Fidelity can help with specific needs for those interested.
The CF-1010 tone-arm from Connected-Fidelity has a UK RRP of £3,499.
The CF-1010 tone-arm can be purchased in a package with their TT Hub turntable, the CF-1010, with or without a Hana Cartridge.
