Pro-Ject announced the Stereo Box E this week, a ‘starter’ integrated amplifier. It contains a DAC, a Phono stage for turntables, a headphone amplifier, and an aptX HD Bluetooth 5.0 input. The Stereo Box E is priced at £249.00 (UK SRP) and will be available from November 2024 from Henley Audio.

The Stereo Box E has 21W per channel output in a pre-and-power configuration, including a subwoofer output and a remote control. There are seven inputs in total, including 3.5mm aux inputs or other RCA inputs, as well as the digital and turntable Phono stage.

The Stereo Box E is available in two affordable, upgradeable sets to accommodate digital or analogue entry into the hi-fi world. Is anyone else hearing Christmas Bells here?
