FiiO has announced this week a new flagship digital portable music player, drawing on their expertise from their audio entry in the last few years. The M27 has a formidable specification.

The FiiO M27 features Qualcomm’s QCS6490 (Snapdragon 770G architecture), which promises elite computing power. The M27 has 8 Kryo 670 CPU cores, an Adreno 642L GPU and support for LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. This specification promises super-fast responsiveness and seamless multitasking on an Android 13 OS. There is 8GB RAM!

With all of this processing power on the DAC side, the FiiO M27 has dual ESS ES9039SPRO DACs, promising resolution and low distortion. The M27 can house two microSD cards managing 2TB of storage on top of the onboard 256GB of storage. There are 6.35mm, 4.4mm, and 3.5mm headphone outputs.
The battery is a 9200mAh high-capacity battery which FiiO claims will;
…deliver hours of uninterrupted playback, ensuring long listening sessions are as effortless as they are immersive.
The FiiO M27 will launch in Autumn 2025 across all markets. Pricing will be announced in September.
