For the Dan Clark Audio Noire X DCA has developed an enhanced version of their planar magnetic Aeon driver. This new diaphragm is more rigid than before, claiming to offer less distortion, improved reliability and a smoother frequency response. Finally, the Dan Clark Audio Noire X features the DCAS AMTS tuning system from their top-of-the-range products.  AMTS is designed to smooth out high-frequency standing waves over the ear, improving performance further.

Noire X offers a comprehensive range of cable terminations at the base price, including combo 1/4″ and 3.5mm tips, 4-pin XLR, and 4.4mm. For those seeking more flexibility in cable length and termination, it’s easy to upgrade to our ultra-premium VIVO cables, available in multiple lengths with multiple termination options.

The headphones weigh 385 grams and have a quoted deficiency of ~94dB/mW. The recommended minimum power at 16 ohms is 250mW.
