Focal is adding the Hadenys and Azurys to its collection of passive luxury headphones this week. Hadenys, named after the eon when the Earth was first formed, is an open-backed design, and the Azurys, inspired by Azurite, a semi-precious stone, is closed-backed. The headphones feature the same aluminium/magnesium 40mm ‘M’ shaped driver found in the Bathys headphones which have active noise cancelling.
Both headphones will be available on focal.com from Tuesday, 7th May. Hedenys will retail for £599 (€699/$699, May 2024) and Azurys will retail for £499 (€549/$549).
