Goldmund launch new active speakers
Geneva-based luxury audio brand, Goldmund, is announcing today a set of new active loudspeakers based on their iconic Gaia loudspeakers. The three loudspeakers are called Asteria, Rhea and Theia, in ascending size and price (wait for it!). The loudspeakers feature Goldmund’s ‘Proteus LS technology’, their ‘Leonardo Time Correction’ through its Digital Processing System and Goldmund’s ‘Grounding’ technology, designed to eliminate vibrations.
The Asteria weighs in at 70kg per unit and boasts internal 600W of Telos amplification to the drivers. The top-of-the-range Theia has 875W of Telos amplification and weighs in at a back-breaking 200kg.
The speakers have suggested retail prices, as follows; Asteria – £89,000, Rhea – £137,000, Theia – £275,000.
