CX Series Black Edition CXA81 integrated amplifier

Looking great in black, Cambridge Audio has today revealed a new CX Series Black Edition of its range that features the CXA61 and CXA81 integrated amplifiers, the CXN network player and the CXC CD transport. There will only be 1000 of these units in the Black Edition, worldwide.

Cambridge Audio CEO, Stuart George says:

Since we stopped making black hi-fi products, people have been asking us to bring them back. We decided to do this limited run, in response to that demand – and I have to say, they look pretty damn cool. People love CX, and this finish takes it to the next level.

The Black Editions will carry the same price as the competitively priced lunar grey versions.  Here at HF&MS, we loved the Edge W & Edge NQ and EVO 150, and indeed the EVO 150 won a Best of 2022 award last year! Hopefully, we’ll get a look at the CX Series soon, maybe even the Black Edition.
