NAIT XS3

Well, news from Naim, where have they been?   Naim has just announced the latest generation of the legendary (my words) NAIT and SUPERNAIT integrated amplifiers.

I went to the launch of the 2nd Generation Naits 6 years ago and now the 3rd Generation NAIT and SUPERNAIT both include built-in phono stages, Naim says both integrated amplifiers will continue to be handmade in Salisbury, UK.

SUPERNAIT 3 – Rear

Naim says the new phono stages built into NAIT XS 3 and SUPERNAIT 3 are based on classic Naim designs and crafted from audiophile-quality components.

I have to say, I would love to hear these two.  I have the streaming pre-amplifier N-272 and I’m sure these will do at least as good a job with class A headphone amplification and the new DR components cascaded from the Statements.  I for one am pleased they have not moved these separates to the new black box case design prevalent in the new Uniti series; the glowing green eyes will hopefully remain a feature of the corner of my lounge for years to come.

NAIT XS 3 and SUPERNAIT 3 will start shipping from August, with Suggested Retail Prices of £2199/€2699/$2999 for the NAIT XS3 and £3499/€4299/$4599 for the SUPERNAIT 3.
