Triangle, this week, has announced a new range of passive loudspeakers called Solstice, featuring a floorstander, a centre channel and bookshelf loudspeakers.
The floorstanding Solstice 8 is a 3-way bass-reflex speaker, fitted with 16cm medium and bass drivers. It is designed for rooms measuring 15 to 50 m². All three loudspeakers feature a new TZ2540MG horn tweeter designed for the range, with a new phase plug and barrel structure. The claimed frequency response is 38Hz–22kHz with 130W RMS.
The 2-way bookshelf Solstice 3 is a bass-reflex speaker fitted with a 16 cm midrange driver and the tweeter. It is the ideal solution for rooms measuring 10-35 m². The claimed frequency response is 48Hz–22kHz with 90W RMS power handling.
The 2-way sealed-box centre speaker is equipped with two 16 cm midrange drivers. It ensures perfect sonic coherence with the other SOLSTICE models
The new cabinet structure is reinforced with a 2degree inclination.
