With the Sonus faber Sonetto G2s arriving here at HF&MS, we have news of these new Concertino G4 passive bookshelf loudspeakers. Being Sonus faber, these loudspeakers are designed with the highest-quality material in mind. The central chassis is crafted from cork, as featured in the Sonetto and Sonetto ranges.  The side walls are crafted from solid walnut.  The units feature recycled leather and Ohoskin, a plant-based leather alternative.

Acoustically, the Concertino G4 features a 25mm (1″) silk dome tweeter and a 134mm (5.25″) paper pulp woofer with a reflex duct to the rear of the cabinet and a simplified crossover design. A dedicated stand is available to purchase.  The 4 Ohm impedance of this Concertino G4 offers a claimed frequency response of  60Hz to 25000Hz with an 85dB sensitivity.

Concertino will retail for £4,248 (without stands, the matching stands are £1,250 a pair) and will be available to purchase from Sonus faber retailers from September 2024.
