The next award this week inevitably goes to the Eversolo DMP-A6 networked streaming DAC. It was a revelation this year, with several great features to commend it. These were mainly a dead-easy setup in the App, a high-quality touchscreen, a brilliant twin DAC section, and an optional M.2 storage card slot, making this a super-easy networked media storage platform on top of everything.
AND it has VU Meters (and since the review I’ve received a software update and have a rather cool spectrum analyser option as well).
After the review, HF&MS bought one of these from audioemotion on the spot, and it is now the go-to streaming and storage option. There is a video on our YouTube channel about the DMP-A6, and it features heavily in our Streamer video.
