More exciting news this week, this time from Sonus faber who have launched a KEF killing wireless loudspeaker. The two-way active wireless loudspeaker is called Duetto and will be available from November 2023 from authorised UK Sonus faber dealers.
The Duetto loudspeakers have a WiFi connection between them and they feature AirPlay, Chromecast, Tidal, and Spotify and they are Roon-ready. There is also Bluetooth connectivity. There is also an HDMI and optical input and there is an MM turntable phono input.

Inside the Duetto, there is an 18mm silk dome tweeter with a copper cap to optimise output and a surround suspension 133mm paper pulp mid-woofer with a neodymium magnet. There are two amplifiers, a 100W Class AB driving the tweeter and a 205W Class D amplifier driving the mid-woofer.
The frequency response is claimed to be 37 Hz –30,000 Hz with an SPL of 105dB at 1m. The speakers weigh in at 6.8kg.
The Sonus faber Duetto will be available through authorised Sonus faber dealers starting November 2023 for £3,490 per pair. Duetto stands are sold separately for £649 per pair.
