Blade Runner 2049 is a Sci Fi masterpiece

Obviously this is a Music and HiFi website but today I have spent the most enjoyable three hours of my year watching Blade Runner 2049, what a joyous, thought provoking and wonderful film. If you are a lover of the original Blade Runner, released some 35 years ago, there were many questions that left you wanting more and more. Today, many of the answers were revealed. There is room here for more but let’s just focus on this one for the time being.

There are no major spoilers here… Blade Runner 2049 is a Sci Fi masterpiece, in my view. It is wide ranging in scope presenting a post-blackout (presumably after the iCloud fails), very rainy LA world. The three things that are amazing about this film are K’s girlfriend, his car and his boss (you’ll see what I mean). Ryan Gosling plays ‘K’ our new Blade Runner who uncovers a slightly disturbing truth that sets him on a path to find Deckard, played by Harrison Ford again who is surely in line for an Oscar nod here.  At the end of the film I was left satisfied with the story, the answers and the sheer imagination of this future world.

If anyone can point me to any evidence that Deckard is a Replicant, I probably will not believe it and I’ll go back and see the film again!
