Good news this week from Denon of a new SACD/CD player launched called the DCD 1700NE. It has been designed as a partner for Denon’s PMA-1700NE integrated amplifier. The DCD 1700NE has an inbuilt DAC, so it can offer analogue output to an amplifier, and it has digital output (optical and coax), so can be used as a CD transport.
The DCD-1700NE costs £1299/€1499/$1499 and is available now.
