Meze Audio is announcing today the launch of a new planar-magnetic headphone called POET, a new open-backed luxury design. The new headphones build on the relationship with Rinaro using their Isodynamic Hybrid Array technology. The headphones house the MZ6 Isodynamic Hybrid Array drivers, a state-of-the-art planar-magnetic technology developed exclusively for Meze Audio by Rinaro Isodynamics in their facilities in Ukraine.
The headband features a flexible titanium alloy that evenly distributes weight, enhancing longer listening. The headphones also feature an intricate steel grill, a magnesium chassis and a soft suede leather headrest. Additionally, the POET is fully serviceable going forward, with every component designed to be replaced if needed. The POET ships with a hand-braided copper cable featuring a 6.3 mm termination.
