Vertere has introduced two new high-resolution phono cartridges into the range of cartridges, called XtraX and Dark Sabre. The current cartridge range includes the Sabre cartridge, reviewed here with the DG-1S in July 2023.
The XtraX is a new moving coil cartridge design with a ‘nude diamond micro-elliptical stylus and telescopic cantilever’ in an aluminium chassis. Full details of the XtraX are here on the Vertere website.
The Dark Sabre builds on the success of the moving magnet Sabre with a new fixing and the aforementioned micro-elliptical stylus and telescopic cantilever. Full details and some very beautiful pictures of the Dark Sabre are linked here.
