Details this week of the new Naim Classic Range that has been announced to start the new year. As a Naim Classic owner of many years, this is pretty exciting; the idea of my own electronics devaluing overnight is irrelevant since I have no intention or money to upgrade unless Naim offers the mother of all exchange deals! I gather each component is £5,700 a piece.
The range is currently an NSC 222 streaming preamplifier (that feels like my NAC-N 272), that supports TIDAL, Qobuz and Spotify up to 32-bit and 284kHz. It also features a headphone amplifier stage inherited from the Uniti Atom Headphone Edition and a MM Phono Input.
Also in the new Naim Classic Range is a new NAP 250, claiming 100W/ch of Class A/B power and incorporating the DR technology. Finally, there is an NPX 300 power supply. Full details are on the Naim Audio site, here.
