The end of the year is always awards season as we all reflect on the year that has just flown past. In the inaugural HF&MS Awards for 2022, the first product to receive a Best of 2022 is the Chord Mojo 2. The Chord Mojo 2 is a portable and/or desktop DAC with a twin 3.5mm headphone output. It is probably the most fun you’ll ever have with your headphones on the move. The full review is here but suffice it to say HF&MS is not alone in awarding the Mojo 2 high honours this year.
HF&MS gave the Chord Mojo 2 an Outstanding award in March this year. We said in conclusion:
The Chord Mojo 2 is absolutely sparkling, it is surely one of the best portable digital solutions at this price. As well as that it has to be one of the best desktop solutions too.
What would we like in the Mojo 3? Same again please, don’t change too much, USB C charging would be handy (the battery is great otherwise) and if it was a bit thinner, that would make it more portable on a daily walk or commute, that’s all.
