Roon Tested
Cyrus i9 XR integrated amplifier

Cyrus Audio has this week announced the XR Series is now Roon Tested.  This folds the Cyrus XR series into the Roon universe.  Roon Tested means the range has been tested and will work as a USB device in the Roon universe.  Roon Ready is the level above where a product has Roon Advanced Audio Transport (called RAAT) network interface preinstalled and offers more advanced features.  Nevertheless, this represents a nice step forward for Cyrus who recently announced their tie-up with BluOS.

Roon is the digital music delivery platform that brings all formats of music, most services like Tidal and Qobuz and your network stored music together in one seamless place.

Cyrus Audio claims it is;

committed to providing the modern music consumer with the best experience possible, and … products being Roon Tested is an important step in achieving that. As a Roon Tested partner, Cyrus has provided equipment to Roon for testing with a variety of different operating systems and computers, and shared information about its design and capabilities
