I couldn’t fund getting to Munich 2019 High End Show but there is lots of news to talk about.
Atlas
Firstly, Atlas has launched a range of tone arm cable upgrades that not only look lovely but will almost certainly sound lovely. Similarly there is a new range of streaming cable upgrades, both Ethernet and USB. The new Mavros streaming products are CAT 7 level with the Grun earthing system and will almost certainly add value to your system.
Naim
Also in my inbox is news this week of the new Mu-so 2 from Naim. Surely this will be special with a new DSP, Chromecast, AirPlay2, Roon ready, HDMI Arc and loads of goodies to boot, more info is on their site.
NAD
NAD has announced at Munich 2019 that it will license PURIFI’s patent-pending amplification technology to create next generation amplifier platform. I’ll hopefully get more on this in due course.
MQA
MQA has announced it is now to be featured on the Napster streaming platform. Very nice.
A&K
At Munich 2019, A&K has announced their new flagship SP2000 will be its first player to support 32-bit/768kHz high-resolution PCM and DSD512 native, bit-to-bit playback. Also announced was the KANN CUBE featuring the latest high-performance DACs, the SP1000 AMP which provides more power output and improves playback time when combined with the SP1000 portable player and some AK T9iE In-Ear Monitors by partner Beyerdynamic which features an acoustic vent port with filter.
Focal
To top it all at Munich 2019 Focal is celebrating their 40th Anniversary with an exceptional new range of products.
