News this week of the new generation of PIEGA Premium Series speakers that feature its new LDR 3056 high-range ribbon tweeter. They certainly look good. Piega is a Swiss manufacturer who seem to favour aluminium cabinets and the aforementioned ribbon tweeters. Mastermind Kurt Scheuch’s team of developers has succeeded in making the already extremely illustrious and aesthetic Premium aluminium columns and bookshelf loudspeakers even more audiophile.

There are three models in the new range, the Piega Premium Series 701, 501 and a bookshelf 301.   There is more detail here and some very nice pictures of the detail in this range.
