This is a wonderful return to the 1001 journey. Frank Sinatra, now in a slight decline in his prolific career has never sounded better. Antonio Carlos Jobim is a counterpoint to Sinatra on the guitar. He was the original composer of “The Girl from Ipanema” and his contribution to the album is a pleasant one. Dindi, pronounced “Ginjee”, is a perfect track too.
In the style of Bossa Nova, this is a wonderfully produced and orchestrated piece of work. It was nominated for a Grammy as best album
