Coming soon to hifiandmusicsource.com will be the new Rega Planar 8.  And just how good do these pictures look?  So I’m off to Head Records in Leamington Spa to ship in some new crispy vinyl items for the review.   The Rega Planar 8 features the Apheta Moving Coil cartridge on the RB808 tone arm that is designed with minimal play to extract every last detail out of the record.  It also has the Neo PSU to deliver electronic speed control in the same way as the Planar 6.

The Planar 8 also has the skeletal design that not only looks great but acts as an extremely rigid but light-weight base from which to extract the analogue perfection you desire.  There will be plenty of pictures next week.  Although released last Autumn, this is a truly exceptional piece of cutting edge engineering.  Come back soon for the review.  If you need a sneak peak, take a look at this link.
