Record Store Day 2018, 21 April 2018

Bit late to post this but my contribution to the day was to buy Radiohead’s ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’, from HMV(!). I decided to treat myself as I am listening to and will be reviewing the Rega Planar 6 in the coming weeks which includes the new Ania Moving Coil cartridge (and associated Phono Stage).

Anyway, I was able to have an amble to a record store the day after in the hope of finding something interesting. Unfortunately for me a rather rude and unhelpful chappie at SJ records in Stratford took the shine of my curiosity. Which was a shame as I rather fancied their 2 vinyl 2 CD Limited Edition copy of ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’, despite buying it the day before.

My Rega Planar 6 review will follow, I’m hoping to pair it with the new Focal Kantas, having attended the launch several months ago.

For the record(!), my site is now on a new shiny server, hence the delay for Record Store Day 2018. Thanks to sort-it.biz, awesome.
