From Butcher Hollow in Kentucky, famously this ‘Daughter of a Coal Miner’ was on her seventh studio album for this release. Credited with 30 million record sales over her career of 80 albums, Loretta Lynn was certainly prolific. Inducted to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1988, Lorreta’s 7th album is, for me, classic Country and Western music. Country Music demands a story and strong lyrics and thankfully, unlike the Electric Prunes (105), Lynn can write.
